The vintage and rare 1968 Greco Shrike for sale at Greg's Vintage guitars Atlanta .Cool like an ES 335 or Rickenbacker
styled , Diamond sound holes which are bound like the Gibson Trini Lopez
models that came out in 1964,bound neck and back,zero fret, rounded
corner finger board inlays,ZERO FRET,mother of pearl Greco logo on
headstock, maple back and top, semi hollow, with solid center bracing
below pickup area,which is routed and not top mount pickups, and braced /
blocked below carved tail piece area. Nice german style carved top,
very nice inset / carved area for bigsby styled vibrato area . 1 and
5/8/ nut width,9 and 1/4 wide at the waist,14 at the lower bout 14 1/2/
inch long body.Gretsch styled rolomatic bridge to keep guitar in tune
when using vibrato. These guitars were only produced in 1968 and as you
can see were very well made and designed guitars,to well actually as
they cost more to produce than they would sell for . So a chance to get a
wonderful example of a very rare electric guitar .Comes with era
correct crappy chip case these guitars were sold with.

Greg's Guitars Atlanta offers A really cool Guild® solidbody electric
guitar. Guilds S281 flyer, these guitars were produced for one year in
this configuration with a solid alder body, Khaler tremelo with roller
bridge saddles that keep you in tune perfectly while doing those dive
bomber dives, the fine tuners also work perfectly and have no slippage
whatsoever.Locking nut and matching red "cake knife" style headstock.
The perfect red finish is undercoated with gold primer and the maple
neck also has a rare maple cap fingerboard . Guild® really did a
phenomenal job on these.1 tone and 1 volume knob,3 way selector switch
and sweetly hot "California" pickups that while we were putting her
through the paces we could not find a tone that we didn't like. The 25
and 1/2 inch scale length reminds us of the EVH guitars that hit the
market in the late 1990's. The original rounded end "capsule" case
completes the package. If that's not enough for ya then check out the
back of the headstock where the authenticated signatures from Davey
Jones and Peter Tork of the Monkees are located. C.O.A. from JSA will be

Vintage 1968 hollow body Guild® Slim Jim T 100D, ~ SOLD ~Greg's Guitars.
Vintage sunburst, solid Maple top,back and sides.Bound neck and bound
top aged to a nice cream color, cream and chrome appointments for the
two six pole piece(staggered) pickups,Original vintage electronics
intact, black "G®" top hat knobs,Guitar is 16 1/4 " wide.2" deep.pointed
cutaway,1 piece mahogahny neck ,nicely worn and played in through years
of playing.rosewood finger board and ,dot inlays,chrome plated "G®"
tailpiece discontinued in 1973.The pickups are Guild® original The
tailpiece is the standard Guild® harp-shaped fitting paired with a
rosewood bridge.The bound mahogany neck has a dot-inlaid rosewood
fingerboard and the headstock has the standard mid-60's Guild® plastic
overlay with "chesterfield" column inlay and the outer binding is
missing.. This guitar has a brighter, snappier sound than the DeArmond™
or Humbucker equipped Starfires and is quite a versatile instrument. no
breaks or repairs. Original Everest case.Original open Grover tuning
keys. Overall length is 41 1/2 in. (105.4 cm.), 16 1/4 in. (41.3 cm.)
wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side
of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in.
almost no fret wear. I do think the case is from a Guild bass as it is
longer than the guitar....

1966 Mosrite Celebrity III, Fast slim tapered neck with zero fret and
metal nut ,unbound neck,bound top and back,plastic tipped Kluson tuning
keys ,smooth covered pickups,metal tone and volume knobs with raised "M"
on tops. Bound "F" holes,trapeze tailpiece and adjustable bridge,white
control plate and pickguard all factory and model correct.Faded from
Cherry to a cool Gretsch orange,original finish observed under
appointments.Nicest player of all the Mosrite guitars that have passed
through the shop recently. Original pots also date to 1966,very nice
flame neck with rosewood fingerboard,looks like Brazilian rosewood.Some
finish peeling around the neck pocket,no breaks,cracks or
repairs,gigbag.

PRS McCarty model in ebony for sale at Greg's Guitars with original hard case,wide-fat
22-fret neck only, East coast maple top, 1/8th of an inch thicker
mahogany back, stop-tail, vintage-style tuners, covered McCarty Pickups and a
push/pull coil-tap on the tone control, 3-way toggle pickup selector.For those that do not know the story of The McCarty model and it's namesake ,Paul Reed Smith (PRS) found out about McCarty during a visit to the U.S. Patent office
in the early 1980s, where he kept noticing McCarty's name among Gibson
patents. PRS later hired McCarty as a consultant, and credits his
experience with McCarty as a defining moment in his company. In 1994,
Paul Reed Smith's company PRS, launched the McCarty model as a tribute to Ted. Previously, no instrument or company ever bore his name before PRS did this as a tribute .Some dinks and worming visible,plays superbly .
