In 2011 Fender released 12 different Telecaster models, One each month, the Laminated bamboo "LambooCaster" pictured here was their August model, confined to 500 guitars being produced, they were supposed to have a laminated bamboo neck and fretboard, which they DO NOT HAVE, contrary to pre production literature from Fender these guitars have a maple neck and maple fingerboard, Below are the general production specs. This guitar has been stashed since 2011 and comes with all the extra original case candy pictured as well as the original flight style Fender original case. The tortoise binding really sets off the look of these in my opinion. Light and full of twang and spank this is a great guitar.
